The Crossroads Youth Advisory Council follows and gives suggestions on homelessness related Legislation, works with local Homeless Organizations to donate time and resources, and manages the Crossroads platform, Americas most innovative solution to the homelessness crisis.
Meet The Team
Hayden Hughes, our founder, is an 11th grader in San Diego with a passion for helping America’s most vulnerable community members. As the founder of Crossroads, he has helped over 6,000 individuals experiencing homelessness and has facilitated over 42,000 resource connections. He hopes to continue creating real solutions to real problems with the Crossroads YAC.

Linoy is a student at SDJA who is passionate about creating equal opportunities for people experiencing homelessness. She is also dedicated to helping youth become more engaged and gain access to meaningful opportunities. Through Crossroads, Linoy hopes to build connections and reach the right communities to create a lasting impact.

Adiva Mittal is a sophomore at GBHS focused on public policy & youth leadership. She is the co-founder of Youth4Impact, a student-led nonprofit empowering youth for across the Sacramento region, leading projects helpingmarginalized communities addressing urban inequity in the Sacramento area. She hopes to spread such initiatives with Crossroads state-wide.
Adiva
Jayaj is a 9th grader from Del Norte High School with a passion for public policy and law who founded the San Diego Homelessness Awareness Project to support our unhoused community and get students involved in meaningful action. On the Youth Council, he hopes to amplify student voices and create opportunities for youth to make a real impact. Outside of school, he enjoys playing tennis with his friends and writing online on Substack.

We manage Crossroadssd.com, the largest digital database for homeless resources in the city of San Diego. Since launching, we have helped over 6,00 people and have made over 42,000 connections.
